Looking to keep the kids entertained in the school holidays? We have created an activity to keep those little hands busy. Free to download are colouring pages about Australian animals (Koala, Wombat, Kookaburra and many more) to bust their boredom and foster their creativity.
You can download them either in black and white or in colour. Let the kids be creative and once animals are coloured in, cut them in half, and mix them up allowing them to create their very own Australian animal. The following four steps will help your kids make Australian animals that have never been seen before! Step 1: Download and print the Australian animals.
In this pdf file you will find the following Australian animals: Koala, Wombat, Kookaburra, Cockatoo, Crocodile, Kangaroo, Platypus, and a Tasmanian devil. You can download them in black and white or already coloured in and print them out.
Step 2: Colour in the Australian animals.
If you chose the black and white version of these Australian animals, now it is time to colour in!
Step 3: Cut the animals in half.
Cut the animals in half. We have provided you with a little mark to make it easier!
Step 4: Mix them up and be creative!
Now it is time to get creative. Combine one half of the animal with another half and voilà! You will have created a new Australian animal. Do not forget to share your animals with #australiananimalsWHS on IG to show off your creativity to the community!
